Traveling west on I-10 (from
Mississippi)
- Exit at Elysian Fields and head south
towards the Mississippi River (left).
- Go through three stoplights -- or
about one mile.
- When you come to the intersection
of Elysian Fields and St. Claude Avenue (Walgreen's on
your right; bright pink building on the other side of
the intersection) turn right onto St. Claude.
- Get into the left-hand lane and turn
left at the second opening onto Touro Street.
- Turn left from Touro onto Rampart
Street.
- Look for 2011 N. Rampart -- the large
two-story house (light olive green with dark green shutters).
We are on the left --three houses from the corner.
Traveling east on I-10
(from Louis Armstrong Airport)
- When you near the city, get into
the left-hand lane and take I-610 to Slidell.
- Once on 610, move to the right-hand
lane and take the Elysian Fields exit.
- Turn right onto Elysian Fields and
go through three stoplights -- or about one mile.
- When you come to the intersection
of Elysian Fields and St. Claude Avenue (Walgreen's on
your right; bright pink building on the other side of
the intersection) turn right onto St. Claude.
- Get into the left-hand lane and turn
left at the second opening onto Touro Street.
- Turn left from Touro onto Rampart
